Perpetual Weekly Lessons

Prerequisite: Starfish

Our Manatee class builds on the skills learned in Starfish, while fostering independence, listening skills, and confidence in a fun, caring environment. Swimmers will work on buoyancy, breath control, submersions, floating with limited or no assistance, and important safety and survival skills. Utilizing songs, toys, mat rides, and other props, swimmers will learn fundamental swimming and safety skills through playing, guided instruction, and social interactions. This class requires a parent or caregiver in the water and the use of a double diaper. Our trained instructors are present in the water to assist parents with proper skill development.

(To be eligible for a Manatee class, swimmers must have promoted from Starfish or have permission from the instructor)
