Whoops we have to clean the pool

Welcome to our _ _ _ L…notice there is no p or poo in it!

A little bit of pool humor for you, but jokes aside, we take water cleanliness VERY seriously.

With that said, every once in a while, one of our sweet swimmers has a potty accident in the pool and for the safety of our swimmers and staff, we must shut down the pool temporarily. Thankfully, we have a UV system that protects against crypto and other yucky stuff, but ensuring our water is clean and safe is a top priority.

Not to add more to your plate, but you can help to reduce closures due to a potty accident by following our Potty Policy and taking your child to the restroom before class — even if they say they don’t have to go.

When we shut down for a potty accident, we will notify those families affected as soon as possible. We reach out the following ways:

• Text (if you have agreed to receive text messages)

Please understand that we do our best to notify you as quickly as possible, but sometimes we may not be able to connect with you before you get to our facility. We apologize if this is the case, but getting angry at our office staff is not going to help anyone. We will happily schedule a make-up class at your convenience.

Since a pool closure resulting from a potty accident is due to a circumstance beyond our control, we will not offer a refund for the closure, nor will we provide a credit on your account. We do, however, offer free-make ups that can be used at your convenience while your child is enrolled in our program.

If your child is not potty trained or is under the age of three, they need to be outfitted with two layers of protection, one reusable swim diaper and either another reusable swim diaper or a disposable swim diaper. Here’s the really important piece — the diapers have to fit properly. Otherwise, they are worthless. We sell reusable and disposable diapers, so please just ask at the front desk if you need to replace one or you forgot to bring one.

We will not allow kiddos in diapers in the pool without two layers of protection.
